Daisy Kasprzak, Intern
Supervised by Renee Braune, MA, MS, LPC, LIMHP
My name is Daisy and I am a master’s student studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Texas at San Antonio. As a developing counselor, it is my mission to create a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.
My approach is collaborative and integrated. I tailor treatment interventions to support each client’s unique strengths, needs, and goals by helping them build confidence as they navigate the complex journey to becoming their best selves. I strive to meet clients exactly where they are-- honoring their story while supporting their growth with compassion and curiosity.
Within our work together, you can expect to be met with empathy and compassion as you embark on your healing process. Together, we will explore the patterns, beliefs, and emotions that shape your life. We will also build practical skills that will encourage you to be actively involved in making meaningful change. For clients who desire it, I am also able to integrate Christian or faith‑based spirituality into the counseling process as a source of support and guidance.
Based on a combination of my personal experiences and training, I am interested in working with clients from all walks of life: adolescents and young adults, disordered eating, body dysmorphia, OCD, maternal mental health, parenting, life transitions, military families, and trauma.
For self-care, I love spending time outside in the sunshine, strength training, taking long leisurely walks, making healthy and delicious recipes, and solo grocery shopping.
