Peyton Fails, Counseling Intern

I am currently studying at Texas A&M University–Victoria, where I am pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, and personal growth.

I take a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative approach to counseling. I use a mixed-modalities approach, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to help clients identify strengths, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful, achievable goals in a supportive and safe environment.

During my clinical training, I have gained experience working with adolescents in residential and structured treatment settings, supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and life stressors. I believe in meeting clients where they are and tailoring care to each individual’s needs and strengths.

I am committed to ethical practice, ongoing learning, and professional growth, and I value collaboration and supervision as essential parts of providing thoughtful, high-quality care.
