Desiree has held a passion for mental health, carved by her own journey through anxiety, family addictions and life transitions. Raised in Hawai‘i as a proud Mexican-Hawaiian, her cultural upbringing allowed her a deep sense of cultural awareness, empathy, and cultural understanding. These values are engraved into her work, creating a warm and accepting space for healing and growth.
She uses a trauma-informed and person-centered approach, empowering clients to explore their experiences, build self-trust, and work towards the life they envision. Desiree is passionate about helping individuals navigating anxiety, identity, and periods of change with confidence and clarity.
With a background in crisis support and lived experience as a military service member, Desiree brings a grounded, compassionate perspective to the therapy space. Providing a true human connection.
Outside of her professional work, Desiree is dedicated to the practice of self-care as a foundation for well-being. She values rest, mindful routines, and cultivating a strong inner sense of self; tools she also encourages her clients to embrace as they work toward lasting change.
