Karina Richmond

LPC- Associate, Supervised by

My name is Karina Richmond, and I am an LPC-Associate with a Master’s in School Counseling and a Mental Health Certificate from Lamar University. I am passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and build the tools they need to thrive emotionally, and personally.

I specialize in working with individuals ages 4 and up, creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Whether addressing anxiety, behavioral concerns, life transitions, or emotional difficulties, I strive to meet each client where they are and tailor the therapeutic experience to their unique needs.

My therapeutic approach integrates Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. I believe in helping clients recognize their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and gain confidence in their ability to create meaningful change.

To make scheduling easier, I offer flexible evening and weekend appointments to accommodate busy families and individuals.

I am committed to creating a supportive space where children, teens, and adults can feel safe, valued, and understood.
